We are seeking a OB Hospitalist to join our Labor & Delivery team. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a busy, collaborative environment with strong neonatal and maternal-fetal medicine support while serving a rapidly growing regional population.

* Full-time schedule: 7.5 × 24-hour shifts per month
* Part-time option available: minimum 5.5 × 24-hour shifts per month (benefits eligible)
* Immediate start preferred with active Texas license
* High-volume OB service with strong clinical support team
* Level II NICU with in-house neonatology coverage
* Collaborative care with maternal-fetal medicine specialists

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide inpatient OB hospitalist coverage, including labor & delivery management
* Perform OB triage, admissions, and inpatient obstetric care
* Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries
* Manage unscheduled OB/GYN triage and OB emergency department consults
* Support high-risk pregnancy management in coordination with specialty teams
* Assist in cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed
* Respond to emergencies in labor and delivery
* Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private physician coverage
* Support ER consults for gynecologic emergencies

**Clinical Volume & Scope**

* Annual deliveries: ~1,900+
* OB hospitalist deliveries: includes vaginal and C-section cases
* OB triage visits: ~2,200 annually
* OB emergency department consults: ~1,200 annually
* C-section rate: ~40%

**Qualifications (Required)**

* Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
* Active Texas medical license or in process
* DEA registration (required prior to start)
* Current NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days at time of submission)
* Must be able to reside locally (relocation may be required)

* Compensation: ~$135/hour (~$292,000 annually full-time equivalent)
