**Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist opening in Las Vegas, NV**
Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join a highly specialized, multidisciplinary team. Practice in a state-of-the-art Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) in Nevada, supported by a strong academic affiliation.
* Care for critically ill pediatric cardiac patients in a 14-bed CICU
* Manage complex congenital heart cases within a high-volume surgical program (400+ cases annually)
* Work alongside a multidisciplinary team supporting ECMO and cardiac catheterization programs
* Collaboration with a 24-bed Pediatric ICU and a newly expanded pediatric emergency department
* Participation in neonatal and pediatric transport services
* Academic involvement with rotating residents from multiple specialties
* Procedural sedation opportunities within a comprehensive children’s service network
* Leadership role in continuity of care within a rotating ICU schedule
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide intensive care management for pediatric cardiac patients
* Oversee post-operative congenital heart surgery patients
* Collaborate with cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ECMO, and ICU teams
* Participate in critical care procedures and sedation services
* Contribute to teaching and academic activities for residents and trainees
* Ensure adherence to evidence-based pediatric critical care standards
* Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as part of a rotating schedule
**Qualifications (Required)**
* Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in:
* Pediatric Critical Care OR
* Pediatric Cardiology with CICU training OR
* Dual training in Pediatric ICU and Cardiology
* Active Nevada medical license or eligibility to obtain
* Current NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days at time of submission)
* DEA registration (required prior to start)
* CSR/CDS registration (required prior to start)
* Must be willing to relocate or already reside locally
