We’re seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join a team in Franklin, NH on a 14-week contract. This is a local, non-travel assignment starting ASAP with overnight shifts (07:00 PM–07:30 AM). Compensation for the 36-hour week is $1,098.

What you’ll bring:

  • A valid, active LPN license for the state of New Hampshire
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

What you’ll do:
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians, working directly with patients to support their recovery and daily needs. Typical duties include:

  • Conducting patient assessments (physical exams, health history, medication reviews) and helping develop individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments accurately and in line with protocols
  • Monitoring, documenting, and reporting vital signs and changes in condition
  • Cleaning, dressing, and monitoring wounds, incisions, and injuries for signs of infection or complications
  • Inserting, maintaining, and monitoring IVs and administering IV medications and fluids as ordered
  • Managing urinary catheters, including insertion, routine care, and surveillance for problems
  • Collecting specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing
  • Teaching patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and self-care to promote health and independence
  • Assisting with patient comfort and safety—positioning, mobility support, and pain management
  • Responding quickly to emergencies and providing basic life support when needed
  • Following strict infection control practices and using PPE appropriately
  • Safely handling, storing, and disposing of medications and medical supplies according to policy
  • Promoting preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and participating in health assessments
  • Advocating for patients’ needs and ensuring they receive appropriate support and care
  • Collaborating closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other team members for coordinated care
  • Supervising CNAs or other unlicensed assistive personnel when required
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation of care and patient status
  • Participating in ongoing education to stay current with nursing best practices and regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management
