Contract LPN/LVN (Licensed Practical Nurse) — Long Term Care, Nights — Franklin, NH (9-week)

Join a Franklin, NH healthcare team for a 9-week, contract (non-travel) assignment starting ASAP. This evening/night role runs 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Compensation is $1,098 per 36 hours.

What we’re looking for

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
• Current BLS certification

What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician direction. Typical duties include:

• Administering medications and treatments accurately and following protocols
• Performing wound care—cleaning, dressing, monitoring for infection or complications
• Monitoring and documenting vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration)
• Completing focused patient assessments (physical exam, history, med review) to support individualized care plans
• Starting, monitoring, and maintaining IV lines and IV medications/fluids as required
• Managing urinary catheters (insertion, maintenance, and surveillance)
• Collecting lab specimens (blood, urine, sputum) and documenting results/actions
• Keeping thorough and accurate patient records, noting condition changes and interventions
• Educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care
• Assisting with comfort and safety needs—positioning, mobility assistance, and basic pain management
• Responding to emergencies using established protocols and providing basic life support when needed
• Following strict infection control practices and proper PPE use
• Safely handling, storing, and disposing of medications and supplies
• Promoting preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and supporting health assessments
• Advocating for patients and coordinating closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Occasionally supervising CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel, when applicable
• Performing other duties as assigned by management
