Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage at a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center in Richmond. The ideal provider is comfortable working in a high-acuity environment and flexible with scheduling, as the facility utilizes a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.

Position Details:

• Setting: Level I Trauma Center
• Schedule: Flexible shifts (8s, 10s, and 12s available)
• Coverage Type: Inpatient / hospital-based anesthesia services
• Environment: High-volume, fast-paced clinical setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, including emergent and trauma cases
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols and best practices
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
• Active Virginia CRNA license or ability to obtain
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience in trauma or high-acuity settings preferred
• Flexibility to work 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
