**Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery | Clinic + Call | Ponoma, NJ**
**Why This Role**
- Short-term coverage with strong surgical support team
- Balanced OR, rounding, and call responsibilities
- High-acuity cardiac cases with dedicated CV resources
**Assignment Details**
- Start: June 1, 2026
- End: July 13, 2026
- Schedule: 7a–4p + night call (approx. 12–13 shifts/month)
- Setting: Hospital-based
- EMR: Cerner (PowerChart)
**Clinical Details**
- Average 1 cardiac case/day
- Level II Trauma (City Division)
- 11 general ORs + 2 CV ORs
- Procedures include CABG, off-pump CABG, arterial revascularization, redo CABG, and pericardial window
- Full support including PA in OR, NP team, and CTICU intensivist coverage
**Requirements**
- Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Fellowship trained
- Active NJ license required
- BLS and ACLS required
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
