Adelphi seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services for students in Tillamook, Oregon. The SLP will deliver assessment and intervention aligned with students’ IEPs using consultative, push-in, and pull-out models, and will collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and school staff to support communication and access to the curriculum.

Required qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Oregon SLP license (Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Pediatric experience required; school-based experience preferred
  • Experience serving children with diverse communication needs and disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and service delivery models
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in-person (no teletherapy)

Key responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, evaluation, and therapy services that meet IEP goals across a continuum of delivery models (consultation, push-in, pull-out)
  • Screen for and diagnose speech, language, fluency, voice, and related communication disorders
  • Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized intervention plans; support literacy across listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Recommend and support AAC systems as indicated
  • Participate in multidisciplinary eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings; prepare and maintain accurate documentation (evaluations, progress notes, IEP records)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff; provide consultation and training on communication strategies
  • Conduct hearing screenings as needed and ensure compliance with FERPA, IDEA, and applicable regulations
  • Travel between school sites as required and perform other duties as assigned
