Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide school-based services for students within a school in Tillamook, Oregon. The Speech-Language Pathologist will deliver services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using a variety of service delivery models, including consultative, push-in, and pull-out support, in collaboration with educational teams.

Requirements
• Active Oregon licensure through the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Pediatric experience required; school-based experience preferred.
• Experience working with children with diverse communication needs and disabilities.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and service delivery models.
• Valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work on-site only (no teletherapy).

Responsibilities
• Provide speech and language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.
• Deliver services using a continuum of models including consultative, push-in (classroom-based), and pull-out interventions.
• Evaluate, screen, and identify communication disorders including articulation, fluency, voice, and language impairments.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams for evaluation, eligibility, and service planning.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support access to curriculum and language development.
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs.
• Support literacy development across listening, speaking, reading, and writing domains.
• Utilize and support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and IEP records.
• Participate in IEP meetings, school team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Provide consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies.
• Conduct hearing screenings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA, IDEA, and all applicable regulations.
• Travel between school sites as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
