Adelphi is seeking a licensed and experienced Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental services at a residential facility in Tom Green County, Texas. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-centered dental care while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Requirements:
• Must be licensed as a Dentist by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners with no restrictions
• Have a current, unrestricted DEA registration
• Possess a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant clinical experience in general dentistry
• Must maintain current AHA BLS/CPR certification
• Be proficient in computer systems and electronic health records (EHR)
• Must complete all required pre-employment training
• Must submit to and pass required drug screening and background checks
• Must comply with all immunization and facility health requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, compliance-driven healthcare environment
• Able to provide care in a residential setting serving individuals with specialized needs
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive dental services, including exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Deliver preventive, restorative, and periodontal care, including cleanings, scaling, extractions, and prosthetic services
• Perform radiographic procedures (X-rays) and interpret findings
• Provide pre- and post-procedural care, including minor surgical interventions as needed
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans, including justification for complex or irreversible procedures
• Accurately maintain and update electronic medical and dental records in accordance with regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Maintain and manage dental equipment and instruments
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care
• Supervise and provide guidance to dental support staff, as applicable
• Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders regarding care plans and procedures
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Perform duties independently while ensuring high standards of care and service delivery
• Provide dental care services within a care facility setting serving individuals with specialized needs
• Respond to urgent or emergent dental care needs as required
