Adelphi is looking for a Psychiatrist to deliver telehealth services to clients at a long-term care facility in Tuolumne, CA. You’ll provide remote psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and ongoing treatment—focusing on timely medication management and clinical assessments to support continuity of care.

What we’re looking for

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in California
• American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification, with a child/adolescent focus
• Valid DEA registration for California
• Licensed and enrolled as a Medi‑Cal provider in California
• Unique National Provider Identifier (NPI) or willingness to obtain one
• At least 1 year of tele-psychiatry or remote behavioral health experience (full-time preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Valid third-party billable provider credentials for Medicare, Medi‑Cal, and private insurance

Work setup

• Provide services remotely using secure telehealth platforms
• Reliable high-speed internet and a private workspace are required
• Adhere to scheduled patient appointments and availability expectations

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
• Diagnose mental health conditions and create individualized treatment plans
• Manage medications and monitor patient response and progress
• Keep accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams when needed
• Follow all federal, state, and client-specific regulations
• Use approved telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
