Rate: $2,051 / 32 hours
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred
- BLS required; CNOR or other perioperative certifications preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and operating room for surgical procedures
- Serve as circulating RN: monitor patient status, assist the surgical team, and maintain sterile field
- Administer medications per protocol and document administration
- Accurately document perioperative care, surgical details, and patient outcomes
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient and family education
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure safe patient care
