Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Extensive cardiac nursing experience
- Experience in Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke/Neuro, and Step-Down ICU settings
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders, policies, and state regulations.
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with standards.
- Develop individualized care plans and provide patient/family education.
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and participate in performance improvement activities.
