- Admissions required: Yes
- Rounding: Inpatient rounds and ICU coverage
- EMR: Epic

**Clinical Details**
- First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracic/lung resection cases
- Vein harvesting, chest tube placement, and surgical support required
- Coverage includes OR, ICU, telemetry, and inpatient care
- Call includes procedures, surgeries, and rounding responsibilities
- Direct collaboration with cardiothoracic surgeons

**Requirements**
- Board certified Physician Assistant required
- Active Kentucky license required
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
- Must be proficient in CT surgery first assist procedures
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- NPDB self-query required within 30 days of presentation

**Compensation**
