Seeking a locum tenens OB/GYN to provide inpatient clinical care and 24-hour call coverage in Richmond, VA, as supplemental support for an established practice. Coverage runs May 26–Aug 20, 2026, with the specific shift dates listed below. Day shift hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; call is 24 hours with a 1:4 rotation.

• May 26–28
• Jun 2–3, 18–19
• Jul 1–2, 15–16, 30–31
• Aug 1–2, 4–5, 12–13, 18–19

Clinical expectations and practice profile:

• Patient volume: 25–30/day
• Case mix: ~90% low-risk pregnancy, ~10% high-risk; GYN ~20%
• Typical operative volume: 1–4 GYN surgeries during assignment
• Procedures performed: fetal heart rate interpretation, obstetric ultrasound, routine and complicated deliveries, office/minor GYN procedures, surgical GYN, repair of 3rd–4th degree lacerations
• Support team: 3 physicians in practice and 5 midwives
• Facility: Level III NICU, Level II trauma center, on-site lab and radiology, 3 exam rooms
• EMR: Epic
