Location: Washington, IA
Position: Registered Nurse — Emergency Room (Contract/Travel)
Start: ASAP
Shift: Days, 5a–5p (36 hours/week)
Rate: $2,182 / 36 hours
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- ER experience or acute care background preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Triage and assess patients on arrival
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocol
- Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to physicians and team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and follow-up
- Participate in ER quality improvement and safety initiatives
