Join a small, collaborative pathology team in Syracuse, NY to provide inpatient coverage on a locum tenens basis. You’ll be stepping into a supportive group of four pathologists with dedicated technical support that includes four histotechnologists, one pathology assistant, and two cytotechnologists.

- Location: Syracuse, New York (inpatient)

- Coverage period: Begins June 1, 2026 and is ongoing
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Shifts needing coverage
- Jun 1–19
- Jul 6–10 and Jul 13–17
- Sep 7–11
- Oct 5–16
- All of November and December
Clinical scope and responsibilities
- Gross your own specimens
- Perform frozen section cutting on a cryostat
- Provide surgical pathology and cytology services
Tools and environment
- EMR/Lab system: Epic/Beaker
- Equipment you'll use: Hologic ThinPrep Integrated Imager, Avantik QS12UV and QS II, Nikon Eclipse E400, Olympus BX41
- Trauma designation: Level III

- Active New York medical license
