Director of Women's Services (LDRP) — RN, Labor & Delivery Leadership

Join a Grand Junction, CO hospital as a full-time leader responsible for the strategic and operational direction of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) and Nursery services. Start date: ASAP.

Key qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Extensive clinical experience in LDRP or Women’s Services
• Prior leadership/director-level experience preferred
• Proven leadership, operational management, and communication skills

Core responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and clinical oversight for LDRP and Nursery units to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and newborn care
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day departmental operations
• Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and lead performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership to align clinical practice and organizational priorities
• Oversee budgetary planning, resource allocation, and program development
• Champion staff education, recruitment, retention, and professional development
