Locum tenens opportunity in a 593-bed, Level I trauma hospital in York, PA, providing ongoing clinical coverage beginning June 22, 2026 (day shift) with night coverage starting July 5, 2026. Schedule options include 4x10s (Mon–Fri, flexible) for day shifts and 3x12s (Fri–Sun, 7p–7a) for nights.

Clinical responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative anesthesia care across all ages and a broad case mix: trauma, neuro, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, general, GI, pediatrics, plastics, ortho, and robotics.
• Perform general endotracheal anesthesia (GETA), MAC, regional blocks, spinal and epidural anesthesia (epidurals without physician present), and ultrasound-guided techniques.
• Support high-acuity and trauma cases in a Level I facility.
• Collaborate within a medically directed model with anesthesiologists (typical ratio 1:3, up to 1:4).
• Participate in admissions and rounding as required.

Facility & team

• Epic EMR.
• Multidisciplinary surgical teams with anesthesiologist and surgical specialty backup available.
• Coverage needed to supplement existing staff.

Credentials & compliance

• Active PA license required.
• CRNA certification required.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in high-acuity, multi-specialty surgical settings preferred.
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available with a clean file and leadership approval.
• Anticipated credentialing timeline: ~90 days.
