Join a dynamic rehab team in Santa Clara, CA as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant on a 13-week contract with an ASAP start. Full-time schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,505/35 hrs; Local rate $1,484/35 hrs.

Minimum requirement

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.

Core responsibilities

• Support the Occupational Therapist in patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and independence in daily living.
• Train patients and caregivers in the safe use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Document assessments, treatments, progress, and changes in condition accurately and promptly.
• Provide patient and family education, including home exercise programs to support recovery.
• Communicate regularly with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols to maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
• Offer encouragement and emotional support to help patients meet therapeutic goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
