Key requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- OR or perioperative experience preferred
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork
Core responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and perioperative staff by passing instruments and supplies during cases
- Monitor and verify proper function of surgical equipment
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies before, during, and after procedures
- Document procedural details and communicate effectively with the surgical team
