Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred (ICU, Step-Down, or Telemetry)
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS required or obtained within a specified timeframe
- Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to Step-Down/PCU patients
- Monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document patient care accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies
