Join a busy Athens, GA hospital to provide locum tenens gastroenterology coverage for adults from Dec 21–28, 2026. This inpatient, call-only assignment (7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.) is supplemental to the existing practice of five physicians. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, performing routine “bread-and-butter” GI procedures as needed, and covering emergency department and inpatient consults. Rounding is required. Documentation uses Epic Beaker. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Requirements:
- Active Georgia medical license
- Board certified in Gastroenterology
- BLS and ACLS
- DEA registration and CSR
- Local candidates preferred
- Clean professional record
- Self-query NPDB report requested
