Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Fremont, CA (13-Week Contract)

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a team in Fremont, CA for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. You’ll work weekdays, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is $2,648 per 40 hours for travel candidates and $2,608 per 40 hours for local candidates.

What we need from you

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll be doing

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and their environments to identify limitations and set meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the broader care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and increase independence.
• Recommend and instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) to help patients regain function.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to promote independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients’ safe return to their homes, communities, and workplaces.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
