Rate: Travel $1,995/35 hrs; Local $1,967/35 hrs

Required:

• Valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathology

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose disorder type and severity using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and train patients on safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on carry-over strategies, home programs, and exercises.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members.
• Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily, school, or work settings.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to remain current in SLP best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
