Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel $1,995/35 hrs; Local $1,967/35 hrs
Required:
- Valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathology
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Diagnose disorder type and severity using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and train patients on safe swallowing strategies.
- Recommend and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on carry-over strategies, home programs, and exercises.
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members.
- Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily, school, or work settings.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to remain current in SLP best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
