Schedule: Mon–Fri, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel: $1,232 / 35 hours; Local: $1,215 / 35 hours

Requirements:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations
• Contribute to development of individualized treatment plans and implement prescribed interventions
• Deliver therapeutic activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Instruct patients in use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Document treatments, patient progress, and any changes in condition accurately and promptly
• Provide patient and family education and training for home exercises and ongoing care
• Communicate regularly with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols to maintain a safe therapy environment
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients working toward therapeutic goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
