Join a collaborative rehab team in Laconia, NH on a 13-week contract to provide patient-centered occupational therapy support. This full-time position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, starting ASAP. Compensation: Travel: $1,505/35-hours; Local: $1,484/35-hours.
Required:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Occupational Therapist in patient evaluations to identify functional and physical limitations.
- Help develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver interventions that improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs.
- Document treatments, progress, and changes in condition accurately and promptly.
- Communicate regularly with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain safety and infection-control standards in the therapy environment.
- Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients working toward their goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
