Overview
Join a well-supported pediatric endocrinology team providing clinic and inpatient coverage on an ongoing basis. Clinical shifts rotate Monday–Sunday with shared beeper call (20-minute response) among three providers/APPs. Weekend rounding is minimal but required.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Patient population: Pediatrics
- Typical volume: 7–8 patients/day with 1 possible add-on
- Phone consults expected
- Inpatient rounding as needed (minimal)
Practice & Facility
- Current pediatric endocrinology team: 3 physicians
- Support staff: RNs, MAs, diabetes educators, APPs
- Pediatric capacity: 145 beds, including 18 PICU beds
- Trauma Level II; Pediatric Level II
- Exam rooms: 6
- EMR: Epic
- Onsite lab and radiology
Privileges & Compliance
- Hospital privileges required
- WA medical license and DEA required
- Board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Pediatric endocrinology experience required; fellowship preferred
