Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred if required.
- Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and crisis management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and document patient mental and physical health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Implement individualized care plans and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient and family education regarding mental health and treatment plans.
- Maintain safety and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Respond appropriately to behavioral crises or emergencies.
- Document care and observations accurately in the EMR system.
