Job Description
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon needed for locum tenens coverage in Fallon, Nevada. Hospital-based position providing 24-hour orthopedic coverage (call, clinic, and surgery). Ongoing need: 1–2 weeks per month.
Compensation and Benefits
- Rate: $3,195 per day
- Above-market hourly rate
- All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group (in addition to shift rate)
- Malpractice and tail insurance provided
- Personal locum consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling
Coverage Responsibilities
- 24-hour orthopedic coverage including call
- Inpatient care and outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Surgical coverage in a hospital setting
- General orthopedic surgery focusing on adults and total joint procedures
Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Experience in general orthopedics and total joint procedures
- Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain
- Able to practice independently in a hospital-based setting
Location
- Fallon, Nevada: small community with outdoor recreation and proximity to Reno and Lake Tahoe.
