Outpatient Physiatrist (PM&R) — Brown University Health, Providence, RI

Brown University Health seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to join an outpatient PM&R practice in Providence, RI. The practice covers general musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation across the lifespan and includes onsite PT, OT, SLP, Audiology, and Aquatic Therapy. Opportunities exist for service-line growth in Neurorehabilitation, Electrodiagnostics, Musculoskeletal, and Oncology, plus leadership and teaching roles.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient, non-interventional PM&R care (full-time or part-time)
• Manage musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation patients across the lifespan
• Perform EMG/NCV and ultrasound-guided procedures (preferred)
• Collaborate with PT/OT/SLP, social services, and community resources in a transdisciplinary model
• Support evidence-based, goal-directed care
• Optional teaching of residents and medical students
• Opportunity to cover inpatient service one weekend per month

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Eligible for Rhode Island medical licensure
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred but not required

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary range $300,000–$420,000, commensurate with experience
