Locum Emergency Medicine NP or PA — Frankfort, KY (Flexible Shifts, Travel & Lodging Covered)

Locum Emergency Medicine APP opportunity in Frankfort, KY for experienced PAs or NPs.

Location and Setting

• Community hospital ED with steady patient volume and strong physician support
• EMR: Meditech

Clinical Volume & Schedule

• Annual ED volume: ~30,000–40,000 patients
• Patients per hour: ~1.8–2.2
• Shift length: 10–12 hours (day/evening/night)
• Flexible locum scheduling (weekday and weekend options)
• Coverage may include fast track and main ED

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients across acuity levels
• Perform common ED procedures within scope (laceration repair, splinting, I&D, etc.)
• Collaborate with board-certified emergency physicians

Requirements

• PA or NP, board certified or eligible
• Emergency Medicine experience required (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Active KY license or ability to obtain
• ACLS and PALS required; ATLS preferred
