Job Description

Join an established, patient-centered primary care practice affiliated with Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. We seek a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine physician (or Family Medicine physician with an adult-medicine focus) to join a collaborative team of physicians, NPs/PAs, medical support staff, and on-site behavioral health providers. This outpatient-only role offers the resources of a Harvard Medical School–affiliated teaching hospital and a supportive environment for high-quality care and professional growth.

Position highlights

  • Outpatient-only practice embedded with Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in the Boston area
  • Team of 8–10 physicians plus advanced practice providers
  • Full-time or part-time options (0.75–1.0 FTE; typically 6–8 sessions/week)
  • Shared call schedule (approximately 10 weekends/year)
  • Teaching opportunities with students and residents; recent residency graduates are encouraged to apply

Compensation & benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $235,000–$265,000 annually (commensurate with experience and FTE)

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency (or Family Medicine with adult-medicine focus)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Massachusetts medical license or eligibility
  • Strong academic background and commitment to excellent, patient-centered care
