Locums Urology Physician — $275/hr, No Call, Outpatient + OR in Fargo, ND

We’re looking for a Locum Urology Physician to join a practice in Fargo, ND, delivering hands-on urologic care across clinic, hospital, and the OR. This role blends outpatient visits, inpatient rounding, and surgical cases—ideal for someone comfortable across the full spectrum of urology.

Compensation

• $275 per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 80 hours per pay period
• No call required
• No Federal holiday coverage required

Practice setting

• Outpatient urology clinic with inpatient rounding responsibilities
• About 90% direct patient care
• Daily patient evaluations, consults, and follow-ups
• Close coordination with consulting services as needed

Clinical responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient clinic
• Perform inpatient rounds for urology patients
• Provide consults and arrange specialty referrals
• Manage both medical and surgical urologic conditions
• Maintain timely documentation and coordinate patient care

Procedures and scope of care

• Cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and other endoscopic procedures
• Transurethral procedures for prostate disease and bladder cancer
• Vasectomies and scrotal surgeries
• Incision and drainage of prostatic abscess
• Procedures on bladder, kidney, ureter, urethra, epididymis, spermatic cord, testes, penis, and scrotum
• Broad endoscopic urologic procedures

Technology and equipment

• Holmium laser
• ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy)
• Fluoroscopy

Preferred skills

• Robotics certification preferred but not required
• Experience with advanced urologic surgical procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Urology
• North Dakota medical license preferred
• DEA certification
