OB Hospitalist — Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (Birmingham/Mobile, AL)

We are expanding our team of experienced OB/GYN physicians to provide consistent, expert care for every pregnant patient presenting to the hospital. This hospitalist role focuses on improving patient safety and satisfaction through dependable, high-quality inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care while offering a superior work/life balance and collaborative relationships with community obstetricians.

Locations: Birmingham and Mobile, AL.

Core responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care and manage obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate effectively with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and allied providers
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient-centered care standards
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to support informed decision-making

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies and deliver comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to continuous clinical improvement
