Locum Primary Care Physician needed in Downey, CA
Compensation: $140–$150 per hour

Scope of work:

• Provide outpatient primary care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct routine physicals, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active California medical license and DEA registration.
• BLS certification.
• Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred.
