Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — High Pay, Flexible Schedules, Malpractice Covered

Board-certified or board-eligible neurologists needed for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospital EDs and inpatient teams across multiple states. Provide real-time neurologic consultations for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support. Flexible scheduling with ongoing needs—suitable for supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice.

Compensation and engagement

• Pay: $210–$220 per hour
• Locum engagement with long-term assignments available
• Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts

Core responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and communicate treatment plans
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record

Minimum requirements

• MD or DO
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
• Active U.S. medical license required

Preferred

• Stroke experience; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Preferred to have licenses in hand for states including FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
