Locums Oncology Nurse Practitioner — BMT & Chemo Expertise, Free‑Standing Cancer Center (Greenville, SC)

Join a locum team at a free‑standing cancer center in Greenville, OH, providing both outpatient and inpatient oncology care. You will manage adult and geriatric patients with benign hematologic and malignant oncology diagnoses, including chemotherapy administration and bone marrow transplant oversight.

Schedule & call

• Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Call shifts:
  • Tuesday 4:30 PM–Wednesday 8:00 AM
  • Friday 4:30 PM–Monday 8:00 AM (on-site rounding Saturday & Sunday)
• Call frequency: approximately one rotation every 5–6 weeks, depending on staffing

Practice setting & patient mix

• Free‑standing cancer center serving adult and geriatric populations
• Typical caseload: ~15 outpatient visits/day; ~20 inpatients when on call/rounding
• Practice mix: ~65% benign hematology, ~35% malignant oncology

Clinical responsibilities

• Manage benign hematology and malignant oncology patients
• Oversee bone marrow transplant care and related follow‑up
• Administer chemotherapy and manage treatment regimens
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; prescribe medications
• Triage patient phone calls and hospital inquiries during call shifts
• Participate in inpatient rounding on weekends

Requirements & certifications

• Board certified in Hematology & Oncology
• Active Ohio license or eligible to obtain one
• BLS and DEA certification required
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient oncology care
• Proficient in chemotherapy administration, blood bank management, and oncology procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred
