Locums CRNA (Float) — West Branch/Clare/Gladwin, MI

We are hiring a Locum CRNA to provide float anesthesia coverage across Clare, Gladwin, and West Branch, MI. This independent-practice assignment offers a varied, mostly outpatient case mix and a manageable call rotation centered in Clare.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

Call

• Primary call base: Clare
• Rotation: 1:3
• 1-hour response time required for Clare
• Weeknight call until 11:00 PM; weekend call coverage 7:00 AM–11:00 PM
• No OB call
• 1–2 holidays per year

Practice setting

• Independent CRNA model
• 80–90% outpatient / 10–20% inpatient
• EMR: Epic

Case mix & procedures

• General anesthesia and MAC cases (bread-and-butter practice)
• Scopes/GI (GI cases performed at Gladwin)
• Laparoscopic abdominal procedures
• Ophthalmology (cataract)
• Podiatry (approx. 4 days/month)
• Orthopedics (≈½ day/month; includes regional blocks)
• Vascular (occasional, ≈1 day/month)
• Cardiology (TEEs, cardioversions)
• Regional anesthesia (blocks optional; support available if refresher needed)
• Ward & Emergency Department support (IV access, airway management, anesthesia expertise)

Requirements

• Active Michigan nursing license
• ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Prior independent practice experience preferred
