Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or PA — Full-Time, Competitive Pay, Relocation & Loan Support

Join a multidisciplinary community cancer center in Rutland, VT delivering outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and telehealth oncology care. Work with a small integrated team (2 physicians, 1 PA) in a patient-centered model.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No weeknight call; one weekend on-call per month

Clinical responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology and complex medical conditions across settings
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and telehealth care as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care coordination

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or graduate of an accredited PA program
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as an NP or PA; oncology, internal medicine, or related specialty preferred
• NPs: Vermont license and national board certification (ANCC or equivalent)
• PAs: Vermont license and NCCPA certification
• Unit-specific certifications as required (e.g., ACLS); completion of de-escalation/restraint training if applicable
• Proficient with EHRs and standard office technology (Microsoft Office)

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $120,000–$160,000, DOE
