Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as Lead Provider at our Pittsfield, MA urgent care site. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced APP who delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and who thrives mentoring clinical staff in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
As the site’s clinical leader, you will ensure consistent, evidence-based care, support new graduate providers, and cultivate a collaborative culture focused on safety, efficiency, and excellent patient outcomes.
Primary responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages.
- Serve as clinical lead for on-site clinical staff, promoting best practices and high clinical standards.
- Mentor, precept, and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health professionals.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory and clinical protocols.
- Contribute to operational improvements that enhance patient flow, quality, and safety.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Certification from an approved NP or PA certifying body.
- Active Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure.
- Unrestricted DEA registration (must be obtained/maintained).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience preferred.

- Hourly pay: $80.00 – $85.00.
