Emergency Medicine Physician — $300/325/hr, $75K Sign-On, 16-Physician Team in Aiken, SC

Join a collaborative team of 16 emergency physicians and 9 advanced practice providers delivering high-quality emergency care in Aiken, SC. Our group blends recent graduates and experienced clinicians in a supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and close relationships with specialists and hospital leadership.

Practice settings

• Medical Center: a 273-bed community hospital with a 30-bed emergency department, chest pain and stroke center designation. ED annual volume: 43,000 visits. Coverage: 39 physician hours/day and 30 APP hours/day.
• The ER at Sweetwater (North Augusta, GA): a 10-bed freestanding emergency department. ER annual volume: 23,000 visits. Coverage: 24 physician hours/day and 12 APP hours/day.

Clinical and academic involvement

• Manage all aspects of community emergency medicine while collaborating with colleagues and consultants.
• Participate in hospital committees (credentials, sepsis, peer review, medical executive) and support a strong administrative partnership.
• Engage in teaching opportunities for APP students and internal/family medicine residents.

Schedule and compensation

• Flexible schedule as an independent contractor; full-time commitment required (minimum 120 hours/month).
• Compensation: $300/hour (day), $325/hour (night).
• $75,000 sign-on bonus available for full-time shift commitment.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
