Urology Nurse Practitioner or PA – Top-of-License Care in Rutland, VT (Sign‑On & Relocation)

Join a collaborative, patient-centered urology team in Rutland, VT. This full-time role provides the opportunity to practice at the top of your license delivering high-quality urologic care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and procedural urology care under established protocols
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
• Perform and interpret relevant exams and diagnostic testing
• Participate in pre- and post-operative care and patient education
• Collaborate with urologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with institutional policies and quality measures
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement, and continuing education

Minimum qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) for NPs or graduation from an ARC-PA/AMA-approved PA program
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as an NP or PA in urology or a related specialty
• NP: Registration with the Vermont State Education Department and national certification (ANCC or equivalent)
• PA: Registration with the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice and NCCPA certification
• Current basic life support; unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC per department)
• Completion of department-required de-escalation and restraint training
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Compensation & benefits

• Salary: $125,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience
