Anesthesiologist — Level 1 Trauma & ABA Burn Center (Teaching, Academic Opportunity, Phoenix AZ)

We’re looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible anesthesiologist to join our full-time clinical team at a university-affiliated teaching hospital in metropolitan Phoenix. Our facility is a state-designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and an ABA-verified Burn Center, offering a fast-paced, academically oriented practice with opportunities for university appointment.

What the job looks like

• Provide anesthesia care across a broad case mix: Labor & Delivery, neonatal and general pediatrics, general and robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn care, level 1 trauma, orthopedics, podiatry, and special procedures outside the OR. You’ll also use TEE for perioperative and critical care patients.
• Join a high-volume practice with roughly 11,000 anesthesia encounters per year.
• In-house call is required 4–5 times per month.

Teaching and teamwork

• Supervise and teach residents (emergency medicine and surgery), CRNAs, student nurse anesthetists, and medical students.
• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team in a complex clinical environment that emphasizes both patient care and education.

Who we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Interest in academic medicine and mentoring learners is preferred.
