Rheumatology Physician — Academic Clinic Role with Teaching, Research Support & Competitive Benefits

We’re looking for a Rheumatology Physician to join our team in Morgantown, WV. This role involves caring for patients across both outpatient and inpatient settings, with opportunities to teach and to participate in quality improvement or research projects. It’s a great fit if you want a balanced mix of clinical practice, academic engagement, and professional growth.

What you’ll do

• Deliver comprehensive rheumatologic care for patients in clinic and the hospital.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in our ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
• Take part in quality improvement efforts and/or clinical research, with potential for internal grant support.
• Collaborate closely with a supportive team that prioritizes faculty development and career advancement.

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) with eligibility to obtain a West Virginia medical license.
• Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and a rheumatology fellowship.
• Board eligible or board certified in rheumatology.
