Job Description

Join a growing telehealth team based in Tacoma, Washington delivering expert, compassionate care to patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders across the country. In a fully virtual model, you will provide comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, manage complex neurodegenerative conditions, and coordinate care across an interdisciplinary team—including APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators—to ensure patient-centered outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough virtual cognitive and neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Manage patients with a range of memory and cognitive disorders, including dementia and related neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Collaborate with and provide clinical leadership to interdisciplinary teams; supervise APPs across multiple states.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical, telehealth, and regulatory standards; participate in quality improvement and program development.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams to support shared decision-making and ongoing care.
  • Stay current with emerging therapies and best practices in dementia care and telemedicine.

Compensation & benefits:

  • Salary range: $260,000–$276,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Minimum requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
  • Board Certification in Neurology.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing patients with memory or cognitive disorders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
  • Strong clinical expertise in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills in virtual patient, family, and team interactions.
  • Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology or Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology.
  • Prior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice model.
  • Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s disease treatments.
  • Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models.
