Telehealth Cognitive & Behavioral Neurologist — Remote (US)

Join a national, fully virtual team based in Chicago, IL, delivering specialized care for patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and related cognitive disorders. You will provide comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, manage complex neurodegenerative conditions, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team—including APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators—to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. As a clinical leader, you will supervise APPs across multiple states and uphold clinical and telehealth quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cognitive and neurological assessments via telehealth and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage ongoing care for patients with memory and cognitive disorders, including medication management and care coordination.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated, high-quality care.
• Supervise and mentor APPs across state lines, supporting clinical practice and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, telehealth regulations, and quality standards.

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary: $260,000–$276,000

Minimum qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Board Certification in Neurology
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders
• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessment
• Strong skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and virtual communication
• Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth

Preferred qualifications

• Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology or equivalent clinical experience
• Prior experience supervising APPs in telehealth or multi-state practice models
• Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments
• Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care settings
