Job Description

Join a fully virtual practice delivering specialty neurology care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders across the U.S.

Role summary

  • Provide comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations and longitudinal management for neurodegenerative and cognitive disorders.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (APPs, behavioral health, care coordinators) to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Serve as a clinical leader: supervise APPs across multiple states and ensure adherence to clinical and telehealth standards and protocols.

Compensation & benefits

  • $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual cognitive assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up.
  • Manage complex dementia and memory-disorder cases, including medication management and care planning.
  • Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers across state lines.
  • Coordinate care with behavioral health, social work, and care coordination teams.
  • Maintain documentation, quality metrics, and compliance with telehealth regulations.

Minimum requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed accredited Neurology residency.
  • Board certification in Neurology.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders.
  • Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
  • Strong skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and virtual communication.
  • Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Preferred qualifications

  • Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology (or Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology).
  • Prior experience supervising APPs in telehealth or multi-state practice models.
  • Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments.
  • Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care settings.
