Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Kissimmee, FL (Board Certified/Eligible)

Join a locum tenens Emergency Medicine team in Kissimmee, FL, providing acute care across emergency department settings with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions.
• Perform thorough histories, physical exams, and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, ECGs, imaging).
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, procedures, and disposition decisions.
• Provide airway management, resuscitation, and trauma care as needed.
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and quality/safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain promptly).
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical skills in emergency procedures and resuscitation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; prior ED or locum experience preferred.
