Locums opportunity for a Neurosurgeon in Carbondale, IL.

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed)

Compensation

• $4,500 per shift

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and clinical care for inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients
• Perform a broad range of neurosurgical procedures with precision and adherence to best practices
• Manage perioperative care and postoperative follow-up
• Participate in assigned call coverage
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge of neurosurgical advances and apply evidence-based care
• Assist with education/training of medical students and residents as required

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited neurosurgery residency
• Board certified in Neurosurgery
• Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated surgical proficiency across a wide range of neurosurgical procedures
