Join a busy outpatient interventional radiology team in Bismarck, ND, covering a supplemental locum tenens assignment starting June 26, 2026 and continuing ongoing. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with weekday night call from 4:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m. and 24-hour weekend coverage. The specific shift block to be filled runs Jun 26 (8a) through Jul 1 (9p).

What the schedule looks like

• Regular shifts: 8a–4p, Monday–Friday
• Night call: M–F, 4p–8a
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
• Expected callback response time: ~2.5 hours on weekdays, ~1.3 hours on weekends
• Typical patient volume: 10–15 patients per 8-hour shift

Clinical responsibilities
You’ll perform a full range of interventional procedures, including:

• Diagnostic vascular intervention, angiography, angioplasty and stenting
• Thrombolytic and embolization therapies
• Vascular access (central lines, catheter insertions) and IVC filter/TIPS procedures
• Aspiration, drainages, needle biopsies and abscess management
• Thoracentesis, paracentesis, myelography and epidural blood patch
• Pain management procedures, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram
• Vertebroplasty, chest tube placement, gastrostomy tube and nephrostomy insertions
• Renal fistulograms and cryoablation

Environment and support

• Outpatient service setting using Epic EMR
• Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance provided

Required credentials

• Active North Dakota license or participation in the IMLC
• Board certified in Interventional Radiology
• BLS and ACLS required
• Clean professional record
